Prior to copywriting, my professional focus was marketing, e-commerce and CRM in the auto industry. In 2004, a friend at an ad agency pointed out that my one-two punch of business experience and "way with words" would be tailor-made for a career in copywriting. I jumped in with both feet.
Since then, business owners have come to me when they need help with communications. Often people know what they want to say, but they don't know quite how to say it. That's where I come in.
An all-time favorite compliment was when a client (whose executive newsletter articles I ghostwrote) told me,
"You sound more like me than I do!"
